July was an exciting, emotional month for us here at The Cove.
We kicked off the month with our Independence Day Celebrations. We always love this time of year because our entire town gets together, throws a wonderful parade, a party in the park, and the whole community comes together and has a good time.
Here are our pictures of the parade, and our Cove Family enjoying the holiday together.

While we had a wonderful time with our community on Independence Day, and loved every moment of it, the true, shining moment of July would have to be July 15th.
That day we hosted a benefit for a beautiful four year old girl fighting Leukemia.
Leah was diagnosed with Leukemia earlier this year. You can only imagine the heartbreak her parents, family members, and friends felt after hearing the news that this young soul had to fight the brave battle against cancer.
Since being diagnosed, our community's young warrior has shown no fear in fighting her battle. She has smiled through the treatments. She has laughed with her siblings, even while having a rough day after chemotherapy. She has shown her light through the darkest of moments, and her light grows stronger by the day.
We want to thank everyone who helped us with this benefit. Every single soul that influenced, that helped plan the event, that helped execute the plan, that helped by donating items, that helped by purchasing items, that even for a moment brought positivity into this young girl's life, we thank you. Leah's family couldn't be more grateful for all of the support everyone has shown with this benefit, and we couldn't be more proud of our community for stepping up and getting involved.
Leah will defeat her cancer. She will win this battle. She will stand strong and be a role model for us all.
Leukemia did choose the princess. #LEAHSTRONG
